Economies with nominal rigidities are usually modeled in an Aggregate Demand/Aggregate Supply framework. Early papers in the ‘New Keyne-sian Economics ’ literature typically assumed aggregate demand followed the quantity theory of money, but provided much more detailed formulations of aggregate supply.
